Last week we were on about how Lensa AI’s AI mainly generates women half naked or extremely sexual, this week Megan fox went to Instagram to share her Lensa AI-generated images, and guess what? Her’s were also Quite Sexual.

Definitely not in defense of the AI but it generates images based on the type of Images it was fed, so I mean logic kinda, sorta states that if you feed it sexual images it’ll return ummmmmm… sexual images.

Her comment section was quick to call her out as she dresses quite sexual so that's what the AI will generate

Later Fox then clarified in a follow-up post that she wasn't being serious.

"Sigh. I was being sarcastic," she wrote. "How can anyone think I lack this level of self-awareness[?]"

I mean now AI has moved to stage to… the DRAMA STAGE!

Australian artists accuse popular AI imaging app of stealing content

Australian artists say Lensa, the app that uses artificial intelligence to generate self-portraits, is stealing their content and are calling for stricter copyright laws that keep up with AI-generated art.

But the parent company behind the app has defended its use of images, saying Lensa learns to create portraits just as a human would – by learning different artistic styles.

Kim Leutwyler, a Sydney-based artist and Archibald finalist, said the app was replicating distinct styles.

“When I started seeing all of these Lensa app-generated portraits posted by some of my friends, even some other artists, I was instantly sceptical,” Leutwyler said. “Some of the work is distinctly recognisable to other artists’ work.”

“They are calling it a new original work but some artists are having their exact style replicated exactly in brush strokes, colour, composition – techniques that take years and years to refine.”

Leutwyler used the website haveibeentrained.com to search for her own work in the 5.8bn images used to train popular AI art models and found many of her portraits in the database.

tbh this is wrong from the Lensa AI team as we can clearly see a lot of resemblances and also going through her tweet she has screenshots where Lensa images had the original signature of the Artist who made it.

Investors seeking to profit from groundbreaking ‘generative AI’ start-ups

Investors are CASHING IN with investments in Generative AI on the absolute rise.

Venture capital investment in generative AI has increased 425 percent since 2020 to $2.1bn this year, according to data from PitchBook, even as the broader technology market declines.

“Any organization can pick these up and start training them and playing with them, see what they can produce,” said Ed Stacey, managing partner at IQ Capital. “It really just doesn’t make sense to sit on the sidelines any more.”

As Silicon Valley investors’ social media feeds fill up with examples of AI-generated imagery and text, pivoting to AI comes as interest in so-called “Web3”, a vision of decentralised virtual worlds built on blockchains, wanes amid the recent cryptocurrency crash.

“There is a huge hype cycle,” said Colin Treseler, co-founder of Supernormal, which uses AI to summarise online meetings. “The Web3 hype ended, and these people needed a place to go.”
