Huang highlighted the rapid evolution of AI technology as a factor that could reduce costs, contrasting sharply with Altman's extensive financial plans. While acknowledging the competition from major tech firms like Microsoft, Google, and Meta, each developing their own AI chips, Huang emphasized Nvidia's unique position with its GPUs widely accessible across various platforms.

Nvidia recently became more valuable than Amazon for a short time, reaching a market value of about $1.78 trillion. This happened because people want the chips Nvidia makes for AI. Nvidia's value went up a little, while Amazon's went down, making Nvidia one of the top-valued companies in the US, just under Alphabet, Microsoft, and Apple. Nvidia's stock has jumped a lot this year because its chips are in high demand for AI work in data centers. It has added $600 billion to its value this year.
